Our
MISSION is to assist individuals with the learning
process, whether by obtaining a high school diploma within our
Adult High School Credit Program; a GEDŽ after attending
Test Preparation classes; or a job-related skill / new hobby
through Continuing Education classes.
Adult
High School Credit (Night School)
Effective May 14, 2013, the Merrillville Adult
Education High School Credit (diploma) Program will be
closed.
Inquiries about transcripts can be made

GEDŽ
Should you desire to obtain your GEDŽ, we
can assist you in two ways. First, our GEDŽ preparation
classes are designed to move your learning from your current
knowledge to a point where passing the GEDŽ Test the first
time is a reasonable goal. Secondly, you can take your
test with us. Click HERE
for an On-Line Brochure that provides information about the
GEDŽ test and then click on
"Test
Prep" for the current schedule.
(GEDŽ Preparation
Classes are NOT required prior to taking the GEDŽ
Test.)
Community
Education
For over 30 years, Merrillville's
Community Education programs have provided life-long
learning classes and job enhancement opportunities to the
surrounding communities. In the fall and winter, we strive
to provide meaningful courses that will educate, entertain
and stimulate you. This semester's current offerings of
courses held primarily at Merrillville High School can be
