Welcome to Pirate Country where we strive for excellence! 

Merrillville High School is a welcoming place where students and adults of all ages and diversity come together for a quality education.

We begin the 2009-2010 school year working with students to make their education rigorous and relevant.  Our focus on the three R's of Rigor, Relevance and Relationships will help us prepare our students for the new End of Course Assessments in Algebra and English 10 and to meet the graduation requirements set by the state of Indiana.

The faculty, staff and administration take pride in helping our students realize their dreams upon graduation from MHS and continue to work together as a team to focus on the importance of a Merrillville education.
