Dear CPMS Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Virtual Learning at CPMS will begin on Thursday, August 20. The decision to teach virtually was one made with constant communication with medical professionals, the Lake County Board of Health, our MCSC School Board and input from our parents and stakeholders. Students can expect to receive rigorous core instruction from their teachers through Google Classroom. Our students have familiarity and many know that Google Classroom may be accessed from the Chromebook they received just this week.
What Students Can Expect:
Our top priority remains the safety of our students. Still, we do understand that these unprecedented times will pose challenges to students and parents. I want to emphasize that our staff stands committed to providing support, instruction, and ongoing communication so that our children continue to receive an outstanding educational experience.
Parents should continue to take an active role in monitoring their child’s progress on Google Classroom as well as Skyward, where you can see grades, receive text alerts, and email questions directly to teachers or staff. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
We encourage parents to continue to read emails and correspondence as information continues to change rapidly in the upcoming weeks. Together we remain PIRATE STRONG!
