Arthur McKeague, Jr., MSW, LSW
Arthur (AJ) McKeague began his position as a school social worker at Pierce Middle School in the fall of 2019. AJ earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Loyola University Chicago. He began his career in social work in a residential facility for at-risk youth, and most recently he has worked at a community mental health facility providing individualized therapy treating anxiety, depression, addiction, and various other mental health needs. AJ has been trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy, Strengths-based practice, and Family systems theory. He is dedicated to providing students the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to be successful in whatever situation they are navigating.

Stacy Mills, LCSW
Stacy Mills has joined the staff at Pierce Middle School this year as an Indiana Licensed School Social Worker. Although she is new to Pierce, Ms. Mills has a lengthy social work background including 17 years at a neighboring school system. In addition to her social work duties, Ms. Mills is co-sponsoring the STAND Club at Pierce. She is very happy to be working in Merrillville and is available to students, staff and parents to address the needs of children and families.
